Next May, I’m standing to be your Green Party councillor in Swindon Village in the local elections this May.
I’ve been working very actively with the Green Party and seen the difference a Green councillor can make in other parts of Cheltenham. My professional background is in web design and language education, but I also take a keen interest in the legal issues around environmental protection.
I am a firm believer in speaking and discussing local issues with residents - it's vital not to make assumptions about what people would like to see in our communities, and I like having a wide-reaching discussion across different topics. Politics in Cheltenham has felt like we are being taken for granted for too long, and I am keen to change that.
