The Green Party are the official opposition in Cheltenham

We have 3 Green Party councillors in Cheltenham working hard for local people. We received over 16% of all votes cast in the May 2024 elections, which saw us confirmed as the official opposition party in Cheltenham, replacing the Conservatives, who have been wiped out here. 

We have ambitious plans for growth here in Cheltenham, why not volunteer for us and help make change happen?

Cheltenham has been taken for granted by the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives for far too long now, and people are demanding better.

The Green Party has an ambitious set of policies, and will focus in on in particular:
● The NHS, health, and social care
● Affordability and availability of housing
● Water quality – sewage in the sea or pollution in rivers
● Standard of living
● Climate and nature

We will look to bring these into focus and campaign on them here in Cheltenham, as Greens are doing across the UK.
