Earlier this month, Cheltenham Greens attended the Extinction Rebellion Cheltenham People’s Assembly at Bayshill Unitarian Church.
It was a very well-planned and responsive event. Almost 70 people attended to share their views.
Many people advocated for community engagement and government accountability. We want better public services, local business support, and improved awareness of food production. We also want to see direct action to protect our wildlife and green spaces.
XR Cheltenham are building a public report on the event to be shared very soon. We’re really looking forward to working with them again!
